Scales & microtonality

• Scales — Demo of the scamp_extensions Scale object, a highly flexible representation of a scale that can be indexed into infinitely in both directions from a root note. (needs scamp_extensions)

• Microtonal Playback and Notation — Plays a few microtonal chords and notates them, turning on exact microtonal annotations.

Pitch spelling

• Pitch Spelling — Demonstrates the ability to define note pitch spelling using the optional properties argument to “play_note”.

• Voice Leading / spelling policy — Rule-based four-part voice leading over a scale, spelled in E major via the default_spelling_policy argument. (needs scamp_extensions)

Glissando

• Glissando from Envelope — Plays a glissando by passing an Envelope to the pitch parameter of play_note.

• Envelope Shorthand — Plays two glissandi by passing lists instead of envelopes to the pitch argument of play_note.
